For the first time in its 189 years of existance a woman was appointed president of the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 2016. Sigbritt Karlsson's vision is clear: "to lift KTH to next level and continue to strengthen its position as a leading international university. To get there we need the work to be characterized by equality and sustainable development".
